Acupressure

Like Acupuncture, Acupressure is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM developed from the belief that Chi (energy) is concentrated along meridian (freeways) within the body. Along the meridians are gates often referred to as “gates”. If a gate is closed the energy (chi) cannot move freely through meridians ( channels/freeways).

Conversely, if the gate cannot control the flow then the area becomes deficient. By using fingers (acupressure) or needles (acupuncture) the gates can be adjusted to promote smooth flow of chi (energy) throughout the body. The result, the client feels an immediate release of energy in the body.

Clarity, alertness, and a lot of peace are some of the benefits I experienced when I tried it. Incorporated with prayer this is a very meditative modality. You are not required to disrobe and many areas of dysfunction may be treated by this modality. It is truly beautiful and highly beneficial.
